Jon Snow has been the face of Channel 4 News since 1989. His range of international interviewees extends from Nelson Mandela to Arundhati Roy to Tony Blair.
In 2005 he was awarded the Richard Dimbleby BAFTA award for Best Factual Contribution to Television.
In February 2006 he was named Journalist of the Year at the Royal Television Society Awards for his reports from New Orleans, Pakistan and from Africa.
Jon is also a big supporter of Book Aid International and is always ready to help the charity in any way he can. So he was very happy to choose this months book for the Unrefined Book Club. Not only that, but he happily conducted an interview with Waitrose Food Illustrated - all in the name of promoting Book Aid International. So make sure you get the March edition of WFI! (The editor told me he was one of the nicest people she has worked with). We love you Jon! (and we love your colourful ties - maybe we could make you one using the Burnt Sugar crystal pattern!)
