Book Aid International – Unrefined Book Club

Book Aid International supports literacy, education and training in the developing world. We provide over half a million quality books a year to libraries – in communities, schools, hospitals and refugee camps. 85% of our resources are focussed on sub-Saharan Africa, where half the people live on less than two dollars a day.
How the Unrefined Book Club can help!
It costs Book Aid international just
£1.25 to provide a book for readers in one of the world’s poorest countries – so your donations really can make a huge difference to people’s lives:
£25 could send 20 books to a refugee camp
£40 could stock a college library with 32 vocational skills books
£100 could provide 80 copies of African folk tales to schools
£320 could supply a full case of books to a partner library – that’s around 250 books!

Or you could help even more people by joining our
Reverse Book Club!
4 books for
£5 - and you never receive any of them!
The Reverse Book Club - a book club with a difference! You pay
£5 a month, and we send you... nothing at all!
It costs us
£5 to send 4 carefully selected books to readers of all ages in Africa and beyond. A donation of just
£5 a month would mean that each year we could provide 48 books to readers in countries such as Ethiopia, Zambia and Sierra Leone.
